There’s always plenty on offer in Finley, which is uniquely situated at the junction of the busy Newell and Riverina Highways.

As an integral part of the famed Riverina food bowl, the Finley district hosts a diverse range of cropping and agricultural enterprises but it’s also a recreational hub.

The man-made Finley Lake is the perfect backdrop for barbecues and picnics, and is ideal for sailing, water skiing and fishing.

The Finley district is also renowned for its eateries and shopping, as well as sporting and leisure facilities. It boasts a well rated golf course, two bowling clubs, tennis club, squash courts, grassed playing fields and three licensed clubs.

Visitors to Finley can explore items from the past that tell the story of its rich farming heritage to a modern day world.

Keeping with the rural focus, see the saleyards in action, visit the Finley Livestock Exchange or browse heritage buildings, pioneer railway museum on the railway heritage precinct, old machinery and a vast array of items from the past at the Finley Historical Museum and Log Cabin.

And this year the town has an extra special celebration - Finley turns 125 years year old!
