Bureau of Meteorology meteorologist Miriam Bradbury shares more on what can be expected this week below.
The forecast for Shepparton over the next week is as follows.
Winds will start picking up around Shepparton across Tuesday, August 27, with northerly winds of 25 to 35 km/h expected in the morning following a minimum of 7℃ to start off the morning.
Temperatures will rise to 20℃ by the late afternoon and eventually decrease to 13℃ by night.
On Wednesday, August 28, northerly winds are set to intensify from 20 to 25km/h, shifting westerly and ramping up to 30 to 45km/h by morning, before easing to 15 to 25km/h in the evening.
Most of the day will be cloudy with a slight chance of rain in the morning and a top temperature of 18℃ in the afternoon before dropping to 9℃ at night.
A warmer start of 13℃ to the day is predicted for Wednesday morning.
There is a slight chance of a shower on Thursday, August 29 which will stay cloudy for most of the day.
Winds from Wednesday will start to calm down, with only light winds of 15 to 20km/h expected during the day before becoming lighter in the evening.
Mornings will be back to being a bit colder again with 6℃ predicted for 7am before rising to 17℃ by 4pm and back down to 9℃ by 10pm.
Friday, August 30 will see a medium chance of showers throughout the day, most likely in the morning and afternoon with 0 to 2mm of possible rainfall predicted.
The day will start off with a minimum of 9℃ and increase to a mild 19℃ by the early afternoon before decreasing to 8℃ by 10pm.
Saturday, August 31 will see a medium chance of showers throughout the day with a top of 17℃ in the early to late afternoon and dropping to 10℃ in the evening.
Father’s Day on Sunday, September 1 will mark the start of a new month and season with some warmer weather set ahead.
However, this Sunday is not the day for warmer weather.
It will be a mainly cloudy day with a medium chance of showers throughout the day, with a top of 18℃ in the early to late afternoon and a minimum of 9℃ in the morning.
