The u13s played an amazing game in the preliminary final.
The girls showcased a fantastic whole-team effort, demonstrating relentless defensive pressure across the court.
Their determination shone through every play, with the team controlling the ball to secure the victory.
Everyone contributed to this outstanding performance, setting the stage for an exciting grand final ahead!
C-reserve: Tocumwal 22 def by Katandra 26.
We went into our preliminary final knowing that Katandra would come out strong.
Our first half was strong and we went into half-time three goals up.
We knew that we had to keep fighting, but Katandra fought harder in the third quarter and had a five goal turnaround, going into the last quarter two goals up.
We continued to fight but unfortunately it wasn’t our day.
The team should be so proud of the year they have had.
To make it all the way to a prelim final was testament to the excellent year the girls have had.
A big thank you to Jax, our amazing team manager - we would have been lost without you.
While you hated team write ups and keeping up with rolling subs, you excelled at both and we are truly grateful for everything you have done this year.
Liz and Kylie, thank you for your knowledge and expertise. You helped ground the team and push us when we needed to be pushed.
And to our wonderful weekly award sponsors, thank you for your support.
