It was great seeing lots of eager kids dress up in 'festive' outfits for the occasion.
It was a spectacular and memorable scene when jolly Santa and his four elves skied up the river towards the boat club.
Kids and adults waited with anticipation and cheered with excitement when Santa arrived safely to the bank.
Thank you to our volunteers on the night - Bernie Biggs, Leigh Holmberg, Bryce Horne, Tea Denbrok, Chloe Macknight and Debbie Jennings.
A big congratulations to our newcomer at ski school, Dylan Coyle, who successfully mastered two skis behind the boat.
Dylan’s mum, Lisa, was overjoyed to see her son up and skiing.
Lisa has a passion for water skiing, finding joy not just in the sport itself, but also in the soothing sound of boats on the river.
The second award was given to former ski school participant Sophie Pearce.
Sophie made amazing progress last season transitioning from two skis to just one.
On Friday night Sophie confidently took off on one ski and glided down the river without any spills.
The last ski school of the year is on tonight.
We will break for one week only, and will be back in full swing on Friday, January 3.
The weekend of January 3 and 4, Deniliquin Boat club will host Victorian Barefoot Water Ski club.
This is a perfect opportunity to learn the skills of Bare Footin'.
Keep a watchful eye on our Facebook page for further information.
Thank you everyone for a great season so far. Wishing you a safe and wonderful Christmas!
We look forward to more action and fun in the Edward River in 2025.
