The Deniliquin Rovers A-grade team took charge early in their match against Blighty, with Hazel Glowrey securing a quick turnover that set the tone for the game.
At the first break, thanks to lightning-fast footwork and precision shooting from Abbey Wills, the Rovers led 15-4.
Gabby Barlow was a standout in attack, using her speed and agility to drive strongly and deliver precise passes into the circle.
Her defensive efforts also contributed to numerous turnovers, pushing the half-time score to 27-12 in favour of the Rovers.
Throughout the game, the Rovers' defence was formidable.
Young gun Chloe Way led the way with multiple interceptions, supported by Natalie Sampson and Ella Park.
Ella Park was a constant threat to her opposition, using her hands-over pressure and speed to create turnovers.
The Rovers continued their dominance, surging forward to finish the game with a commanding 51-20 victory over Blighty.

B-grade: Deni Rovers 65 defeated Blighty 15.
In cold and blustery conditions, the B-grade Deniliquin Rovers showcased their dominance early against Blighty, leading 18-2 by the end of the first quarter.
Britt Kirby took control of the game in the centre, setting the tone with her strong drives and precise passes.
Jackie Thorpe's versatility was on full display as she excelled at both ends of the court, turning over numerous balls and providing critical options in attack.
By half-time, the Rovers had extended their lead to 32-8.
Olivia Park demonstrated her adaptability by transitioning seamlessly from the midcourt to the shooting circle, contributing significantly to the team’s offensive push.
The Rovers maintained their momentum throughout the match, ultimately securing a decisive victory with a final score of 65-15 against Blighty.

C-grade: Deni Rovers 86 defeated Blighty 2.
In horrendous conditions, the C-grade outfit stayed in good form with a comfortable win over Blighty.
Makhaya Mitsch shone in all four quarters proving superb versatility after shooting, defending and playing in the midcourt throughout the game.
With two of our three shooters absent this week, Nicole Felmingham certainly made up for their absence shooting 66 of the teams 86 goals, making her performance a clear stand out.
As finals near, coach Jemmah Conallin was able to trial several combinations and plays this week.
Shané Bothma, Matilda Glowrey and the coach herself all proved worthy of a finals berth by feeding and passing consistently into the gale force winds.
The powerhouse defenders, Jemma Smith and Erika Martin continued to cause headaches for their opponents, with them only conceding two goals for the game.
A special mention to Carissa Holmberg who somehow managed to get warm enough to play from the bench in the final quarter.

C-reserve: Deni Rovers 59 defeated Blighty 4.
It was a true winter’s day with some wild and windy conditions, making it exceptionally difficult for our shooters.
Despite the conditions we were able to deliver some great passages of play and a steady flow through the midcourt, capped off by some strong feeds into our shooters.
A lower intensity game allowed us to test out some versatility and combinations in preparation for finals.
A standout performance from Lauren Butcher when in goal shooter and finding her hidden talent in wing defence.
Another honourable mention to Abby Whitehorn who found her feet in the defensive ring and may potentially be finding herself a new position.
The team positivity and intensity is exactly where the group want it to be heading into the pointy end of the season.

Under-17s: Deni Rovers 31 defeated Blighty 21.
In a hard-fought match under blustery conditions, the girls emerged victorious over the Redeyes by a 10-goal margin.
Hazel Glowrey delivered a performance that captivated the spectators. Showcasing her gymnastic skills, she gracefully manoeuvred across the court, often appearing to bounce effortlessly off it.
Her powerhouse runs through the middle and her stellar performance in both attack and defense earned her the well-deserved best on court.
Defensive duo Amy Holloway and Reagan Behsman made the game difficult for the Redeyes attackers and shooters.
Holloway’s keen anticipation and willingness to take risks paid dividends, as she successfully deflected and converted numerous turnovers.
Both players were formidable with their rebounding, contributing significantly to the team's defensive strength.
Braelie Wesierski once again proved her consistency and calm demeanour, offering wisdom and guidance to her teammates and coaches with her performance earning her the Player’s Player award.
In a game marked by its competitive nature, the final score of 31-21 reflects a well-earned Rovers victory.

Under-15s: Deni Rovers 48 defeated Blighty 4.
The weather this week added an extra layer of challenge to the game, making it all the more intriguing.
Nonetheless, the local girls rose to the occasion and managed to score an impressive 48 goals.
The coach's decision to rotate the team throughout the season has clearly paid off.
Despite one of our key players being injured, the girls adapted beautifully, showcasing their versatility in what was a well-rounded team effort that secured the win.

Under-13s: Deni Rovers 18 defeated Blighty 5.
In challenging windy and freezing conditions, the netball game unfolded with remarkable spirit and energy.
Despite the harsh weather, the players exhibited excellent teamwork, seamlessly coordinating their passes and movements on the court.
Intercepts played a paramount role in the match, with players demonstrating sharp reflexes and strategic positioning to regain possession of the ball.
These crucial interceptions often turned the tide, leading to scoring opportunities and keeping the game exciting.
Overall, it was an enjoyable game where the adverse weather conditions only seemed to enhance the players' determination and camaraderie.
The match was a testament to the teams resilience and love for the sport.

In cold and blustery conditions, the under-11s once again successfully adjusted their gameplay to suit the challenging elements.
The skills and drills practised in training are becoming a regular feature in the team's performance.
They excelled by advancing and utilizing front cut positioning. It was another outstanding week, showcasing their versatility by effectively playing all positions.
The team celebrated Mini’s Day with the Blighty girls in the Blighty clubrooms after the game and would like to extend their thank you for the hospitality.
