Local junior footballers Chase Bartlett, Jai Park and Savannah Emery have all had the chance to take their footy to the next level, in the 2024 V/Line Cup competition.

All members of the Deniliquin Rams Football & Netball Club, the trio played against some of the best juniors from around the Victorian leagues in their respective sides.
Savannah was part of the Bendigo Pioneer’s Under-15s Girls V/Line Cup squad.
Chase was a member of the division one Bendigo Pioneers Under-15’s V/Line Cup side, while Jai played with the division two team for the same age group.
Across the course of the weekend, the three young Rams played two games each.
Each team had mixed results.
In her first game against the Murray Bushrangers, Savannah and her Pioneers team mates unfortunately lost.
They won their second game of the carnival by 23 points to split their results for the weekend.
Jai and his side took to the field in their first match against the Bushrangers, they were able to score a win by 19 points.
In his second game, they fell to the Gippsland Power by nine points in a hot contest.
Chase and the division one side were matched up with the Bushrangers in game one, and scored a close win by two goals. Chase hit the scoreboard with a goal in the game.
Chase was named best on ground for his side in game two, but they unfortunately lost in a close encounter to Gippsland Power.
Chase and Jai were also lucky enough to get to spend some time with the AFL Premiership Cup in Ballarat before it made its way to Melbourne before the big dance on Saturday.
