The C-grade girls came out with something to prove today.
We kept the intensity and went from strength to strength each quarter.
Complementing each other well, working together as a team and came away with a strong win. Bring on next week!
C-reserve: Deni Rovers 31 defeated by Tungamah 41.
Tough fight for the C-reserve girls today.
They fought hard for the ball all game but unfortunately went down in the end.
They applied constant defensive pressure down the entire court which resulted in many turnovers.
The girls have had an amazing season and should be proud of themselves.
Under-17s: Deni Rovers 34 defeated Katandra 29.
We did not have the start we were hoping for, and we had to fight hard to keep in the game.
The half-time break saw us down, but after an inspiring speech from Alex Hay, a switch was flicked and the girls came out firing in the third quarter.
They left nothing in the tank to take a narrow win.
We’re ready to bring our ‘A’ game this weekend.
Under-15s: Deni Rovers 15 defeated by Tungamah 25.
Well done to the under-15s for making it to the finals.
Unfortunately our finals journey ended with this game.
