It was a tight finish in the men’s monthly medal on Saturday, with the three grade winners all finishing on net 69.

Russell Begg won B-grade and the medal on countback from Terry Howe who won A-grade and Ryan Bywater who won C-grade.
Runners-up were Graeme Willoughby in A-grade with net 72, Mark Thomas in B-grade with 70 and Karen Druitt in C-grade, also with 69. She also won the ladies’ monthly medal.
A very successful Deni High School charity day fundraiser was played on Sunday.
The Campbell family – Tony, Ned, Harvey and Glenda - took the winners’ prize, from runners-up Michael Kennedy, Trent and Harley Beames and James Kennedy.
In last Thursday’s stableford event the A-grade winner was Kerran Leetham with 36 points from runner-up Pauline Davis 35, and in B-grade the scores were very high, with Karen Butcher scoring 46 from runner-up Fiona Milward 44.
Wednesday’s A-grade winner was Peter Joice 40 points from runner-up Norm Purtill 39, and in B-grade Rich River visitor Fraser Maconachie had a massive 48 points from runner-up John Henderson 38.
After a big few weeks on the golf course, in the coming days it is back to a string of stableford events to be played tomorrow, Tuesday (9 holes), Wednesday, Thursday and the following Saturday.

Tonight the club will host the BABBA concert.
Members are advised the regular raffles, for this week only, will be held after golf tomorrow as it would have been too difficult conducting the raffle tonight while a concert was in progress.
