The Benalla Bowls Club Pool competition has been running weekly since April 2024.
Since April, it has been able to run competitions on two tables after a new 12ft pool table was donated to the club.
A Benalla Pool Club spokesperson said its first season came to an end on Wednesday, June 12, with the new season under way already.
The season’s winning team was Team Plex - Peter Robinson, Bruce Cowan, Mick Plex and Ed Bishop.
“The team received the competition trophy (which has been) renamed after the move from the Moira-Benalla Club to BBC,” the spokesperson said.
It is now knows as the Terry Mack Perpetual Trophy.
In the grand final decider game, Team Plex defeated Team Lions 4/0.
The competition also awards a player who has the highest number of wins at the end of each season.
This season’s winner was Wayne Challis, who just beat our Bruce Cowan for the honour.
