An impressive six Mathoura students have qualified to represent the school at state level.
Georgie Taylor, Chanze Egan, Jobe Unwin, Matilda Eddy, Katelyn Eddy and Sophie Eddy are all off to the NSW State PSSA Athletics Championships to be held in Sydney.
The championships will be held at Sydney Olympic Park on Wednesday and Thursday, October 19 and 20, hosted by the NSW Primary Schools Sports Association.
Jobe, Matilda, Georgie and Chanze will take part in the Nigel Bagley relay, which is designed for small schools with enrolments up to 54 students.
Five of the students will also be competing in individual events.
Georgie will compete in the 11 years girls discus, Matilda the 11 years girls 1500m and 800m, Katelyn in the junior girls 1500m, Chanze the 11 years boys 200m and Sophie the 8 years girls 100m.
The Mathoura Public School community has wished the students all the best for their upcoming events.
