Back at it: The 56 players came together for the interleague darts competition in Broadford.
The Seymour District Darts Association triumphantly resumed its annual Interleague Challenge match against the Shepparton Darts Association, following a three-year hiatus due to the pandemic.

With 56 players participating at the Broadford Golf Club, the event witnessed fierce competition and enthusiastic spectators.
The men were divided into three grades, while women were divided into two.
Spirit of the game: Natalie Lane and Robert McKenna were awarded the Shepparton Sportsmanship awards.
In the Men’s A team clash, Seymour and Shepparton showcased remarkable darts skills, drawing a large crowd.
Despite an initial setback, Seymour rebounded and won the day 9-4, led by players Mark Robinson, Zane Kilroy and Jason Masters.
Shepparton’s James Swan and Torin Helmore stood out with impressive performances.
In the Men’s B-grade match, Shepparton dominated, securing a 9-4 victory over Seymour.
Prize on offer: Clint Rowan, Shepparton Darts president, and Wayne Cartner, Seymour darts vice-president.
Steve Ritchie and Steve Kilroy displayed skill for Seymour, while Shepparton’s Brian Morris and Coby Jannenga excelled.
The Men’s C-grade competition saw Shepparton overpowering Seymour, culminating with an 8-5 win.
Leigh Turnbull’s high peg of 132 was a highlight, but Shepparton’s collective effort secured their triumph.
In the Women’s A-grade games, Shepparton’s Kody Lane and her team secured a 9-4 victory against Seymour, with an outstanding performance from Lane.
Women’s B-grade featured a different dynamic, with Seymour performing well in team-based games, while Shepparton excelled in singles but it was Shepparton that eventually won 8-5.
Shepparton emerged as the overall winner with a 4-1 score, continuing their Interleague Challenge Trophy streak.
The Sportsmanship Award went to Shepparton’s Natalie Lane and Robert McKenna and Seymour’s Wendy Bortolo and Dan Kilroy.
