The girls went out chasing the win. They played hard and consistent netball showing their depth in their positions and skill, beating the heat. It was a very well played game by the entire team with everyone giving 100 per cent. This is what we have been working for and will keep pushing for each week.
Awards: Steph Fiore (and Players’ Player), Hollie Bartlett.

A slow start under hot conditions. The girls are still finding their momentum. Some beautiful passages of play and the girls found their groove and came back strong. Another few minutes and we would have come away with the points. Keep pushing hard girls.
Awards: Grace Arnold (Players’ Player), Jodi Hawes, Tahlia Fry.
C-grade: Berrigan 32 drew with Mathoura 32.
Between the heat and the smoke, the girls were in for a tough game. They didn’t give up all game and fought hard, putting into practice the drills we’ve been working on. Versatility was once again on display with everyone stepping up and helping out. Every ball was chased up and we nearly got away with the win, finishing in a draw when the horn went.
Awards: Rach Arnold (Players’ Player), Mia Coldwell, Gracie Lagudi.
C-Reserve: Berrigan 23 def by Mathoura 24.
This was an extremely tough game for the Saints. The game was very tight, going goal for goal each quarter. Everyone played well, backing each other up with great talk on the court and celebrating each goal.
Awards: Tamara Holley (Players’ Player), Fiona James, Chloe Hudson.
Under-17s: Berrigan 39 def Mathoura 13.
It was a slow start to the game with the girls adjusting and finding their rhythm. They found their momentum at half-time after a few changes and became an unstoppable force showing off their versatility. We welcomed Sophia-Ruby Morgan and Sophie Baxter in their team debuts, and they made a big impact. Sophia-Ruby stepped up and shooting a quick 10.
Awards: Lucy Pyle, Sophia-Ruby Morgan, Rosie Phillips.
Under-15s: Berrigan 26 def by Mathoura 57.
The score definitely didn’t reflect how we played. The girls worked hard on both attacking and defending, and it really showed out there. Everything we’ve been focusing on at training came into play, and you could see how much more connected we looked as a team. Shoutout to Sophie Baxter who absolutely owned centre. She didn’t slow down for a second, even in the heat. Sophia-Ruby Morgan was on fire in goals with some awesome movement, shooting, and rebounds. Massive congrats to Natalia Chatzidimitriou who played her very first game of netball - jumped straight in and gave it 100 per cent. Bella Ward was a wall in GK, pulling off some great intercepts and shut down some seriously tall shooters.
Awards: Sophia-Ruby Morgan, Bella Ward, Natalia Chatzidimitriou, Sophie Baxter.

Another great game played by the girls. It was very hot playing against the well polished Mathoura side, but the girls gave it their all and didn’t give up.
Awards: Emma James, Juliette Steel, Chloe Guiney.

It was a great game for the baby Saints this week, with improvement across the whole court. We had a great goal deep in the fourth quarter by Eva Gorman. Keep working hard girls.
