Despite the slippery, wet conditions, the Rams secured a decisive victory.
Eliza Eastman was the standout in defence, displaying incredibly quick feet to manoeuvrer around the shooters. Her strong rebounds, deflections, and intercepts were crucial in shutting down the opposition's offense.
Emma Parks worked tirelessly throughout the game, her persistent hands-over pressure led to numerous turnovers, and her strong drives into attack helped transition the ball forward efficiently.
Ava Richards also played a key role in defence. Her high leaps in the midcourt created pressure and led to additional turnovers, disrupting Barooga's flow and contributing to the team's overall success.

In trying conditions, the C-grade team bounced back on to the winner's board.
They took advantage of the rolling subs options this week to keep all players warm, and to play around with a few positional combinations.
It was pleasing to see the team as a whole work on building their own intensity when the vibe on the court was flat, which is something we’ll need heading into the business end of the season.

The Deniliquin Rams faced a challenging match against Barooga.
The first quarter was evenly matched, but Barooga's accurate shooting allowed them to gradually pull ahead throughout the game.
Carla Crossley, celebrating her 50th club game, received the Druitt Earthmoving Award for her outstanding performance at centre, excelling in intercepts and feeds into the goal circle.
Alice Circuitt, stepping up from under-15s, played commendably in goal defence, earning the Deni Clothing Co Award for her strong defence and intercepting skills.
Temeka Macdonald returned for a game and received the Frank N Beans Award for her excellent feeding into the goal circle.
Under-17s: Deniliquin Rams 54 def Barooga 25.
The Rams had a good win in overcast conditions on Saturday.
With the score and result well under control, they were able to experiment with a few positional changes and provide a number of combinations going into the back half of the season after the mid-year bye.

The girls bounced back very convincingly after a loss the previous week and played an intense four quarters of netball across all positions.
Alice Circuitt and Bella Hillier troubled the Barooga attack with multiple turnovers.
Transition through the midcourt was fast and effective with good use of space by Georgia Henderson, Brydey Maher and Macy Butcher.
Different goal combinations all proved to be effective with accurate shooting allowing Rams to walk away with a convincing win.

Barooga came out strong in the opening quarter, breaking a few of our centres.
Zara O'Donnell played a top game leading hard to the ball and using her new defensive skills to apply pressure to her opponent.
Indi Raper showed her speed and determination in the midcourt, keeping her eyes on the ball all game.
Vivienne Thomson timed her leads perfectly, delivering pinpoint passes to her team mates throughout the game.
