The match-up will take place on Sunday, and the Rams will be seeking redemption.
The two sides met in round four of the league’s home and away season.
Deni went down by 50 points on their home patch - Mulwala 15.7 (97) def Deni Rams 6.11 (47).
Coming into this weekend’s first elimination final, the Rams are sure to be feeling as though they have it all to play for.
The local side’s strong end to the home and away season should provide confidence.
Mulwala are the reigning senior premiers in the Murray League, having gone back to back in 2022 and 2023.
Their credentials speak for themselves and Deni will be looking to knock them off their perch come Sunday.
One difference that will work in the Deni side’s favour is that the Mulwala Lions have marginally slipped from where they finished on the ladder in those premiership years.
This is a do or die game for both sides, with Sunday being an elimination round.
The winner will move on to the semi-final, where they are expected to meet the winner of the Moama or Numurkah game being played tomorrow.
Sunday’s senior clash will start in Tongala at 2pm.
