Her relentless hands-over pressure created numerous opportunities for turnovers, with tips, intercepts, and rebounds.
Ruby Russell’s tireless work ethic shone through, particularly in her numerous centre pass receives and lightning-fast drives into the ring, creating valuable space for feeds.

The under-15s had another close match on Saturday against sixth-placed Cobram, in what were wet and slippery conditions on the court.
The Rams started strong with clean movement out of defence and good drive out of attack.
Georgia Henderson demonstrated unrelenting composure throughout the entire match, the wet conditions having no impact on her ability to control the ball.
Lucy Crossley had an impressive game in goals, with beautiful movement inside the goal circle and accurate shooting under pressure.
Hannah McBurnie took some all-important intercepts in what turned out to be a thrilling last quarter with the Rams in front by two goals at the final whistle.
Huge congratulations to Ava Marshall and Phoebe Newman, who also celebrated 50 club games with the Rams.
Awards: Lucy Crossley, Georgia Henderson and Hannah McBurnie.

We faced a tough opponent in tough conditions this week.
We started each quarter strong but ran out of steam towards the end.
Lara Redden was a force to be reckoned with, working beautifully with Emma Wettenhall in defence. Lara applied pressure on her opponent for all four quarters, working tirelessly against the strong Cobram shooters.
Arielle Hillier played with purpose, she drove hard, creating some great leads to get the ball into the goal circle and sinking some much-needed goals.
Zara O’Donnell was focused and committed to shutting down her player, working hard to put into practice what we have focused on at training.
A very special thanks to Chantall Barnes for stepping in as coach this week.
Award winners: Lara Redden, Arielle Hillier, Zara O’Donnell.
Under-11s: Not scored.
A very wet day on Saturday saw the girls play their first game in the rain, but this didn’t dampen their spirits. If anything, they played with increased energy.
The defence was excellent, with Chloe and Harriet shutting down much of the Cobram play.
The girls fed the ball down through the court well, and as usual Julia Smith passed beautifully to ensure the ball ended up in the goal ring.
Stella Butcher played both an attacking and defensive game, and her accurate passing and intercepts were brilliant.
Claire Menadue played like a star wherever she was placed and as a result she was awarded the player’s player by the girls which was well deserved.
Another fantastic game was made better by the introduction of Eliza Newman as the Assistant Coach who advised the girls on and off the court and kept the girls moving and warm during their time off.
Well done Lambs.
Awards: Claire Menadue, Stella Butcher.
