The Campaspe Division bowls competition resumes this week after the Christmas break.
Both the Deniliquin Bowling Club and RSL Bowls Club will be competing in Midweek Pennant today, with some local games being held.
Due to predicted hot weather, with a top of 39ºC predicted, games are expected to start from 9am.
Deniliquin Bowling Club
DBC’s Division 1 team will host Echuca at the Wick St courts from 10am today.
Teams are as follows:
T Taylor, J McArthur, S King, S O’Brien (s); T Danckert, D McCulloch, I McKenzie, C Taylor (s); N Murray, T King, R Little, B Clancy (s).
Deniliquin RSL Bowls Club
The RSL’s Division 2 side will face the Moama Steamers at the RSL greens in Duncan St.
Teams are as follows:
Miro Peterman, Chris Frampton, Jenny Tonta, Mary-Anne Spizer (s); Ian Chessells, Ron Marchetti, James Rhook, Tony Tonta (s); Gaye Goodwin, Craig Taylor, Jim Jennings, Linda Harris (s).
The RSL’s Division 3 will also take on the Steamers, but on the Moama greens. Cars depart at 7.30am.
