Locals selected in GWS junior development teams

A number of local junior footballers have been selected across different age groups to play for the GWS Giants development regional challenge teams.

They will attend a special program in Canberra early next month.

GWS congratulated all the participants in the development program, saying it’s been outstanding across all our regions.

Following the Canberra carnival, a squad of 24 players will be selected in each age group (excluding under-12s), to play in the super 24 series against the Sydney Swans Academy in Albury late September.
