The Victorian Netball League is Netball Victoria’s premier netball competition.
Ten teams compete in three divisions across 18 rounds of competition, culminating in a finals series.
Ella made her VNL debut last week, in the first game of the season against Melbourne University Lightning.
The VNL is a crucial step in the Netball Victoria pathway and gives Ella access to high quality coaching staff and development opportunities.
The talented Rams mid-courter is also a member of the Netball Victoria 19 & Under State Development Squad.
She has recently relocated to Melbourne where she can more easily balance her university, training and playing commitments.
Amy made her VNL umpiring debut last year and was recently selected to umpire the 18 & Under Netball Victoria League, Mixed Grand Final.
Umpires selected into the VNL Umpire Squad have access to Netball Victoria’s high performance umpire coaches on a weekly basis, gaining valuable experience and feedback.
Amy also umpires at Parkville Netball Association and the Northern Football Netball League, where she mentors other umpires.
The VNL season runs until Wednesday, August 10 where it will conclude with the grand final.
Netball Victoria and the Herald Sun provide live streams of selected matches each week.
Both girls are looking to continue their commitment to the Rams and the Murray League 2022 season by playing and umpiring when they are at home.
