Round nine of the Picola and District Football League saw the Deniliquin Rovers junior sides travel to Yarroweyah, with the seniors having the weekend off.

The thirds had a convincing win despite being down on numbers. They started off strong in the midfield getting the ball down the forward line quickly.
An 11 goal first quarter set up the win, which everyone contributed to. The Roos forwards hardly missed all day and the back line stood tall, only conceding one goal.
Thanks to the fourths who stepped up, all played well and contributed to the scoreboard.

The youngest Rovers had a close game against Yarroweyah on Saturday. The coach said it is great to see the team and first year players improving each week.
