The river was alive with other boats speeding by, their wake making the water choppy.
This made it very challenging for our skiers to steady themselves in the water.
Thank you to Leigh Holmberg and Chloe Macknight who manned the beginner’s boat ROLCO.
Anthony O'Donnell and his son Jaxon worked as a team in Gilflite.
Anthony's expertise as a boat driver was welcomed on Friday evening, as he tried his best to avoid other boats, and driving into uneven/choppy waters.
Jaxon observed and offered encouragement and guidance to the skiers.
The first Ski School award was given to Jess Tottle who was visiting from Melbourne.
Jess successfully popped easily out of the water and skied down the river on one.
This slalom ski which Jess used was kindly donated by Anthony O'Donnell, it is designed for beginners as it has a wide platform and provides stability on the water.
Well done Jess, we look forward to seeing you back at Ski School tonight.
The next award was given to our Friday night regular five year-old Millie Leech.
Millie has transitioned from using the seahorse to the boom bar this season.
Millie is very confident on the ski's taking into consideration her age and height.
We are very proud of you Millie.
