The Goulburn Valley League has unveiled its 2025 fixture list and Echuca’s path to a potential fourth consecutive championship is now laid out.

Simon Maddox and his new coaching team of Leo Tenace and Cameron Valentine are set to kick off their side’s three-peat defence at home against Shepparton United in round one, the season getting under way on April 5.
The biggest early test of the campaign will come in the form of the grand final rematch against Shepparton Bears in round five, with Echuca visiting Deakin Reserve on May 3.
On the netball courts, April 12 is the date all GVL fans are eyeing up, with the Murray Bombers looking to avenge their grand final defeat against Euroa.
Interleague will return on May 24 and the GVL will be hoping to build on a breakthrough win against Ovens and Murray last season and go back-to-back this time out.
Another major milestone in the Echuca campaign will be a round 12 meeting with Rochester on June 28.
Not only is Rochy a fierce local rival, but the Tigers handed the Murray Bombers their only senior football loss in 2024 and are looking to contend again in 2025.
Rounds 13 and 16 will be split rounds held over two weekends, rounds 13 and 14 also serving as Indigenous round.
Say No to Violence round will be round six, with matches played on May 10.
The regular season will conclude on August 23, with finals beginning the following weekend. The blockbuster grand final day will take place on September 21.
