In pennant, Deniliquin went down narrowly to Shepparton Magpies by two hoops having achieved equal games.
Deniliquin was playing Numurkah White at the Pastoral Times went to print yesterday.
It is a do-or-die game for Deniliquin to make the final four.
In other croquet news, John James was runner-up to Richard Parks of Queenscliff Croquet Club at the Rich River croquet tournament last Weekend.
