On Saturday, 24 pairs took part in the WRDGA men’s and women’s 4BBB Championships at Finley.

Jeanette Hicks and Jan Harry from Clubarham, on 86 gross, claimed the women’s championship.
Kacey and Pam Heywood from Rich River were runners-up after countback at 87 gross, with Bobette Wilkinson and Michelle Purtill from Finley in third place.
The women’s handicap division was won by Finley locals Sue Simpson and Kerry Carlon on 64 net.
Second place was Marian Ayres and Linda Rendell, again from Finley and on 65 net.
Another Finley pair, Maree Doyle and Hannah Kelly, had 66 net to come in third.
In the men’s division, Finley juniors Harry Daniel and Cooper Sutton claimed the men’s championship on 84 gross.
Allan Lowndes and David Gumbleton from Cobram/Barooga were runners-up and Wayne Johnston and Stuart Humphries, also from Cobram/Barooga, finished third.
The men’s handicap division was won by Finley father and son combo, Tony and Jacob Smith on 65 net.
They were followed by Rick Harris and Paul Pinnuck of Finley on 68 net, with Jerilderie’s Luke Keating and Geoff Portbury on 69 net in third.
Molly Ryan and Kevin Keating from Cobram/Barooga picked up the trophy for the best score from a non-WRDGA club.
NTP Men: 3rd Darren Mitchell (Deniliquin), 6th Geoff Portbury (Jerilderie), 18th Molly Ryan (Cobram/Barooga).
NTP Women: 11th Marian Ayres (Finley), 13th Helen Wastle (Finley), 18th Kerrie Carlon (Finley).
Ball competition winners were Joanne Dean and Beth White 69, Paul Beaver and Billy Smith 69, Darren and Vene Mitchell 71, Barry Wilson and Marty Piggin 72, and Sharon Pyle and Kellie White 74.
WRDGA Men’s, Women’s and Junior Championships
The men’s, women’s and junior championships took place on Sunday.
Kacey Heywood from Rich River had 76 gross to claim the women’s championship, with Margaret Naseby from Coleambally on 85 gross as the runner-up.
The women’s handicap division was won by Finley’s Joanne Dean after countback on 72 net.
She was followed by Finley’s Linda Rendell also on 72 net.
In the men’s division, Ian Armer from Finley had 73 gross to win the men’s championship.
Matt Thomas from Deniliquin was the runner-up on 78 gross.
Men’s division one handicap winner was Ross Taylor from Deniliquin with 75 net, and Matt Whelan from Berrigan was the runner-up on 76 net.
Division two scratch winner was Paul Beaver from Finley on 85 gross, with Molly Ryan from Cobram/Barooga on 89 gross as runner-up.
The division two handicap winner was David Sandquest from Coleambally with 72 net, followed by Rodger Sutton from Finley, who had an eagle two on the par four 14th and finished with 73 net.
It was Deniliquin’s Rivah Taylor who claimed the junior lady championship, with D’Arcy Whyte from Rich River on 80 gross taking the junior men’s championship.
Archer Golding, also from Rich River, was runner-up with 86 gross .
The junior men’s net winner was Toby Rae from Deniliquin on 72 net, with Cooper Sutton from Finley as runner-up.
The men’s Champion of Champions trophy was claimed by Matt Thomas from Deniliquin, whilst Kacey Heywood from Rich River was the women’s Champion of Champions.
Jason Healey stepped up to claim the men’s best scratch score by a non-WRDGA player.
