The men’s fours was played as a knockout format on Saturday, with the motley crew of Tom Todd, Kevin Keane, Jeff Longstaff and Ken ‘Titch’ Salter prevailing in a nail-biting final against Jamie Shields, Paul Snare, Maxine Norton and Tony Danckert.
On Sunday, both the B-grade singles and the B-grade pairs were completed.
The evergreen Harry Lea took out the singles final, defeating Tim Dover with 21 shots to 17.
In another close encounter, Bryan Kemnitz and Ray ‘Turk’ Brown won the pairs against Stuart Treble and Mark Law, 20-18.
Results from earlier in the season saw Jamie Shields take out the men’s singles over Simon Chisholm, and Carly Crothers defeated Joanne Bovell in the ladies singles.
Simon Chisholm then teamed up with Graham Nisbet to win the men’s pairs against Steve O’Brien and Harry Lea, while the combination of Bryan Kemnitz, Peter ‘Chief’ Chadderton and Graham Nisbet was just too good for Simon Chisholm, Tom Todd and Stuart Treble in the men’s triples.
