The Redeyes took a little while to get the flow going, but from the second half their performance remained solid. Tess Plattfuss was accurate and confident in the ring all day. Meagan Lowry was always determined, creating turnovers and supporting her team steadily on the scoreboard. Alicia Osborne battled strongly all day in defence and never gave up and with her hard work on contested balls, she helped the Redeyes keep the lead. Centre Erica Nicholls continues to play with fantastic grit. Chelsea Weir also stepped in and changed the dynamic of the game in attack, creating great momentum. Maddie Weir was also consistent and focused in on defence.

B-grade were able to pull away from their Yarroweyah opponents and secure a well deserved win at the weekend. Congratulations to junior player Ruby Caruso who stepped in for her first B-grade match with confidence. Supported well by midcourt superstars Eliza Bradford and Dakini Hall, the players worked well to take the ball into attack. Steph Barry again showed skill and strength in goals with support from another young talent Ashleigh Charlton, who showed versatility by having a run in defence. The consistent defensive pressure from Maddie Weir and Meg Erickson was too strong resulting in numerous turnovers.

The Redeyes met the Hoppers this week keen for a win after a bitter loss by one goal last week. With two of the Blighty girls out this week the under-15s came up willingly and performed very well. Ruby Pisasale was reliable in defence, Gwen Gazzara and Isabel Pearn also took the court with discipline and played some lovely netball. The Redeyes had a slow start with different players on court but eventually settled and pulled away with a very large win. Ashlea Charlton was dominant all day and awarded the top player of the match. Very balanced and accurate in the goal ring. Once again captain Chelsea Weir lead her team. Catie Michael entered the court in the second half and was impressive with her focus and decision making in attack.

Under-15s: Blighty 32 vs Yarroweyah 19.
The defenders worked very hard for all the turnovers they got this week. The whole team delivered great communication down the court and were able to fix any mistakes they made quickly. The girls were supportive of each other, keeping a strong morale on the court. Getting the opportunity to play other positions was a fantastic learning experience for those girls that did, capitalising on their opportunities and being able to walk away victors.
Awards: Lucy Pisasale, Milly Hanmer, Gwen Gazzara.

Coming off the back of a hard training session, whereby the juniors took on their parents in a fiercely competitive game, the girls stepped up with extra determination. Increased communication and better passing saw the young Redeyes move the ball swiftly into attack. All players showed great versatility playing both defence and attack and stepping into less familiar positions. Shelby Huckin was outstanding in goals with Savannah Bain showing great defensive strength. Once again the midcourt combinations of Kaydnce Sibraa and Alexis Bucholtz showed control in movement and passing.
Awards: Blighty Canteen Award - Savannah Bain, Finley IGA - Alexis Bucholtz, Andrews Incentive - Shelby Huckin.
Under-11s: Not scored.
The minis were able to put on a great display of what they have been learning. In particular, Alice Petersen and Indi Bain showcased a perfect ‘give and go’ down the court, ending with a well earned goal. Peggy McKenzie was pivotal in the midcourt as well as the goal ring making space and keeping her player out of the game. Myah Gazzara gained possession through her amazing intercepts in the defence end, as well as down the court.
