All players this week lifted and really started to work as a team.
Their efforts, unfortunately, didn’t show on the scoreboard.
William Frost kicked the side’s three goals, which was made possible from good team work.
Other good efforts came from Logan Marshall, Jake Wharton and Milly Hanmer.
Best on ground was Seth Fuess, Hudson Kelly, Andrew Frost and Charlie Tremble.
The other highlight of the day was Ruby Gordon donating her hair for Wigs 4 Kids and raising over $4500 for the charity. Well done Ruby.
Final score: Blighty 3.0 (18) def by Yarroweyah 8.8 (56).
Sponsors Day:
Thank you to all of our amazing life members and sponsors for joining us last weekend for a day to give back to you for everything you do/ have done.
The atmosphere was amazing and a lot of old faces around for lots of catch-ups that had been long between.
It was great to see the Hilton family in Blighty again to pay tribute to our life member Rosalie after her passing.
It was an honour to wear the black arm bands and pay tribute with a minute of silence.
Our condolences were also to the Walsh family on the tragic passing of Luke.
It's times like these we realise how much this footy club means to everyone and how much we rely on everyone’s strength and passion to remind us how much this club is more than just footy and netball. It’s family.
Here's to our amazing club and the work everyone does.
