Big opening week for Murray League finals

Now that the Murray League’s home and away season has finished and the teams taking place in the finals are solidified, we look at the match-ups across the weekend.

The finals kick off on Saturday at Mulwala, and continue at Tongala on Sunday.

All four of the Finley netball teams to make finals will play this weekend, with A-grade and C-reserve playing on Saturday, and C-grade and under-17s playing on Sunday.

The senior footballers have the first week of finals off.

Saturday, August 31, Mulwala.

Football: Fourths - Cobram vs Tongala 9.15am; Thirds - Mulwala vs Tongala 10.45am; Reserves - Congupna vs Cobram 12.20pm; Seniors - Moama vs Numurkah 2pm.

Netball: Under-13s - Nathalia vs Tongala 9.30am; Under-15s - Tongala vs Echuca United 10.45am, Under-17s - Rumbalara vs Echuca United 9.30am; C-reserve - Finley vs Mulwala 12pm; C-grade - Echuca United vs Mulwala 10.45am; B-grade - Moama vs Echuca United 12pm; A-grade - Finley vs Nathalia 1.30pm.

Sunday, September 1, Tongala.
