Big field for Jackpot return

The prize for this week jackpotted after Hayley White failed to find the Joker last week.

After being in recess since mid-October, the Clear Lifestyle Support Jackpot Bowls returned to the Deniliquin Bowling Club.

Forty-two players took to the greens in perfect weather.

In a very close contest, it was the combination of Kaan Ozmen, Owen McCartney and Matt Crothers which claimed the bragging rights, winning their two games with a plus 32 shot differential.

The other two game winners, only one shot adrift, were Errol Bashford, Jade Hipworth and Steve O’Brien, while Mark Quor and Jimi and Sam Ayling finished third a further shot behind.

Hayley White then had her name drawn for a chance at the $1100 cash jackpot.

Her attempt to find the joker failed however, which leaves $1150 up for grabs after play tomorrow.

Intending players can ring the club on 5881 1348 to register.

Names must be in by 5pm, with play from 6pm.
