The Benalla Rovers Soccer Club is excited to share the news of the recommencement of its junior program.
This announcement coincides with the 70th anniversary of the Rovers being established.
The first session for 2024 will be at 4pm on Friday, April 19 and the much-loved mixed social football sessions will recommence at 6 pm Friday April 19.
Founded in 1954 by migrant settlers who came to Benalla, the club has remained a community-based club open to everyone ever since.
The club plans to cater to players from five years of age through to open-age teams.
The club prides itself on being a place where kids and parents from all walks of life can become part of the world game in a fun, friendly and safe environment.
Club organisers are committed to providing participants with the opportunity to develop athletically and personally in a positive and supportive environment.
The Rovers encourage and promote ethical behaviour, tolerance, cultural diversity, mutual respect, good sportsmanship and community involvement.
No matter the skill level, the Rovers are ready to welcome new players with a passion for the game.
The club also encourages new, current and past members to go to Churchill Reserve and meet new faces around the club.
Inquiries can be made via the Benalla Rovers Soccer Club Facebook page.
