That’s how Pat Mitchell summed up Balldale Cricket Club’s reunion on the club’s 70-year history last Saturday.
After a proud history which included many premierships, Balldale cricket sadly ceased in 2018 due to lack of players.
“Alan Wilson reflected on winning a grand final with his son Roger in 1981, then Roger winning a Grand final with his son, Alan’s grandson Damien, in 2011 – thirty 30 years to the day apart,” reunion chief organiser Pat said.
“It was great to see old team-mates and club members back together.”
