A man has been charged after three burglaries in Shepparton, two in the early hours of Thursday morning and one three weeks ago.
Police arrested a 24-year-old Shepparton man just hours after the third burglary on October 17.
Detective Senior Constable Nathan Berryman from Shepparton’s Crime Investigation Unit said the man allegedly broke into Red Rooster in St George’s Rd at around 2.20am and KFC in Wyndham St at 2.50am.
Police say the third burglary took place three weeks ago at Busy Bean Drive Thru Coffee Shepparton North on Numurkah Rd.
Cash was allegedly stolen in the burglaries, which has not been recovered, police said.
The man has been charged with three counts of burglary, handling stolen goods and criminal damage.
He has been bailed to appear in Shepparton Magistrates’ Court next year.
