Life is beautiful, but there are times that we are terrified by the daily problems and trials of this life.
Like the disciples of Jesus, we often times are rattled and find ourselves with no faith in Him.
The gospel of Mark’s main concern is not to report another miracle.
He wanted to present to us on ‘who Jesus is’.
We know Him; it was taught in schools and read in the books.
We all know that he did unusual things — healed the sick, cast out demons and raised people from death.
We know that God had given him authority over the whole of creation.
We know that he is the Lord, the Saviour. We know that he died and in three days rose again, and ascended into heaven.
We heard many good things about Him. But what about you?
What can you say about Jesus? Do you know him personally? Did you accept Him as your personal saviour and Lord?
Maybe yes, maybe no. Probably, this is the right time for us to ask ourselves how well we really know Jesus, and what he means to us.
I invite you all to have five minutes of silence every day — just sit down, close your eyes and listen; listen to Jesus.
He will reveal himself to you in a special way.
