They inspected the roof space with a thermal imaging camera and found no blaze.

Firefighters also checked the solar panels on the roof, and determined it was not subject to “any form of excessive heat”.

Firefighters gave the home the all clear, but advised the occupants to engage an electrician to check an exhaust fan in the bathroom and further investigate the potential cause of the smell.
