On the last few days of school holidays, Friday, October 6 and Saturday, October 7 make your way to the Yarrawonga Showgrounds and join in on all the fun on offer.
In a first for the Yarrawonga Mulwala Agricultural Show, children under 14 will be able to attend free of charge for both days with the main pavilion also open on the Friday night this year from 5pm – 7pm.
Come along during the day on Friday to witness the horse ring one, two, three and four events before gates officially open at 4.30pm with food vans, entertainment by Daine Runnalls, market stalls, carnival rides and the ClubMulwala fireworks at 8pm.
Saturday will have all of your favorites including the Wild Action Zoo, Showmen’s Guild – carnival rides, horse drawn carriage rides, Stacey Family Dog Jump, pushbike/scooter competition, pet parade, Show Girl competition, tractor pull and display, craft and facepainting, emergency vehicles – including the Royal Flying Doctors, Sheep Shearer and his alpaca and the sheep, poultry and wool displays just to name a few.
A new and exciting addition to the show this year is the Smash Up Derby which will see drivers deliberately and repeatedly crash old cars into each other with the winner being the last vehicle still moving after all others have been disabled.
Entry is $5 for adults and children 14 and over on Friday from 4.30pm while gates open on Saturday from 9am – 5pm with adults $10 and children 14 – 16 $5.
