A key event in support of small local businesses, it is a chance for business operators to learn, connect, and network with other professionals in the region.
The program will feature expert presentations designed to help small businesses enhance their marketing strategies and safeguard against cyber threats, providing valuable insights to support long-term success.
Tickets are available for $25 per person, which includes a full breakfast and access to the informative program.
Mayor Cr John Harvie highlighted the importance of initiatives like this for the region’s business community.

• Session 1 - Marketing without money: Presented by Jenn Donovan from Social Media & Marketing Australia, this session will cover how to leverage social media, build partnerships, use word-of-mouth marketing, and access free marketing tools to grow your business without a big budget.
• Session 2 - Cybersecurity 101 for Small Business: Bill Cashmore, head of cyber security at Advance Computing, will dive into the common cyber threats facing small businesses today, along with practical tips on how to protect your business through simple yet effective cybersecurity measures.
Participants will also be able to learn about the Murray Connect initiative, and take part in an exclusive giveaway including two free marketing consulting sessions with Jenn Donovan.
After the sessions, there will be a chance to enjoy networking with local business owners, speakers, and council representatives.
The breakfast will run from 7.30am to 9.30am on December 6.
