The Ulysses Motorcycle Club, Salvation Army and Deniliquin Antique Vehicle Club have just held their 40th Marc Kingston Toy Run.

Community members came out in support of the charity event from early on Saturday.
By 9am their box trailer was almost half full, and more gifts were being piled up on the back of utes on display.
And they still had another three hours of collecting to go.
Last year alone, these dedicated groups brought joy to more than 100 local families, providing essential food relief and toys during the challenging Christmas period.
This year's event saw an outpouring of community spirit, with generous donations from locals and with more than 40 enthusiastic car and motorbike owners joining the cause.
Ulysses member and toy run co-ordinator Peter Nankivell was pleased with the response, thanking those who helped in any way.
“It was a lovely day of weather, and we had a good turn out of people,” he said.
“We had plenty of donations and even people coming back after seeing us, purchasing a gift, then donating it.”

The toy and gift donations from the 40th Marc Kingston Toy Run will be distributed by the Salvation Army to community members.
Families can register to receive toy run donations by speaking with volunteers during Deni Salvos community pantry operating hours, which is 10am to 1pm each Thursday at the Salvation Army Church, at 60 Edwardes St, Deniliquin.

Ms Whyborn said she is “extremely grateful” for the support shown so far, with more donations of toys and food items always welcome.
“The community was just very generous, and we are just overwhelmed with the toys,” she said.
“I want to say thank you to the Deniliquin Antique Vehicle Club and Ulysses Club for their support.”
