Chloe Brown and Elena Mulham came into the office to discuss where life will take them after high school.
Chloe spent her time in Year 12 working towards studying nursing.
This included a school traineeship program in human services.
“I was able to get good experience in nursing through the program; I enjoyed it a lot,” Chloe said.
On the other hand, Elena spent her year 12 focusing on business.
She said it was something she enjoyed and hoped it would lead her to a management job.
As the school year ends, the graduates are looking towards their next step in life.
After receiving exceptional results on the HSC exams, both girls are confident they have a shot at their dream universities.
Chloe, who received an overall score of 86 per cent in her exams, is looking towards Deakin University or La Trobe Univesity.
“I would like to become a registered nurse. Maybe focusing on burns and skin grafts,” Chloe said.
Elena is also looking towards La Trobe University, and with a HSC score of 88.40 per cent overall she believes it will be possible.
Elena says she has yet to decide what to major in but is considering sports management.
At the end of the interview, the Pastoral Times asked the girls the very hard question of where they see themselves in ten years.
“I want to be nursing, maybe up north in Queensland, hopefully the Gold Coast,” Chloe said.
“Well, it depends on what I major in because whatever I pick will take me in such a different direction,” Elena said.
Although she was unsure of where she’d be in a decade, Elena seemed confident that she would succeed at whatever she did.
