Swimming Carnival means school fun in pool

Mother Nature delivered beautiful weather for the Deniliquin High School swimming carnival on Wednesday.

The four houses - Edward, Kyalite, Nyrangi and Colligen - were all well represented with plenty of house spirit on display.

The Year 12 students were exceptional in their leadership in and out of the pool.

In full costume, the school’s most senior students provided a sausage sizzle and boosted crowd engagement for the last swimming carnival of their high school careers.

Being Valentine’s Day, there were plenty of musical requests which provided an upbeat atmosphere and all swimming participants put in their best effort when called upon.
