Held at the Deniliquin Boat Club on Friday evenings, both the beginner and intermediate boats were fully booked for the opening session of the new year.
The bank was extra busy due to the Victorian Barefoot Ski Club visiting.
Its members provided a special opportunity for those wanting to ‘come and try’ barefooting.
“The club would like to sincerely thank our boat drivers Leigh Holmberg and Mark Cartwright, and observers Brett Parker and Chloe MacKnight for giving up their time and sharing their knowledge and expertise with all of our skiers,” Ski School coordinator Aileen Hayes said.
“The club would like to express a big congratulations to Sophie Pearn, aged 10, for her continued attendance at Ski school.
“Sophie is making great progress and she was very keen to try out her brand new Slalom Rador ski which she got for Christmas.”
