The gardens are the venue for the popular Mathoura Easter Fair.
From 8.30am until lunchtime there will be non-stop fun and games for both kids and adults.
The youngsters are being encouraged to decorate their bikes and bring them along to show the judges.
Then they can test their skills in the egg and spoon and sack races.
There will also be an Easter Egg Hunt.
Then, along with mum and dad, they can tuck into some barbecue food and refreshments.
There will also be market stalls with a good range of items available.
And if you had considered conducting a stall but had not got around to it, there is still time. Just give Pam Fitzpatrick a call on 0439 012 094.
Another highlight of the day for the ‘big people’ will be the Tug-o-War, with men and women’s competitions on the agenda.
There is big money to be won and all you need is a group with lots of grunt, and you can enter on the day

Mathoura Football Netball Club’s famous Duck Race is also on at Picnic Point on Sunday, and there are big prizes to be won.
Tickets can be purchased from club members at the fair for just $5 each.
Keep an eye out for them.

Mathoura Public School’s Easter Cake stall last week attracted a great crowd to sample the large range of delicious food on offer.
The students also provided entertainment on the day.
The youngsters are now on holidays and I imagine enjoying themselves immensely.
