On the back of Navorina’s furniture appeal being launched, Yield Insurance has pledged to match donations dollar for dollar up to $25,000 in total.
Business owner Justine Keech said it is on top of donations already made to Navorina by Yield Insurance.
Mrs Keech said she is proud to continue supporting the efforts to make the aged care home feel more like home for its residents, and their families and visitors.
“The plans are all very exciting, and the new furniture will really showcase the facility,” Mrs Keech said.
“The furniture is being purchased from a specialist supplier and will allow us to create a whole new sense of uniformity throughout Nav.
“It will have that interior design feel, but will also complement the homely touches each resident brings.
“We’re creating a space our residents and those who visit them can enjoy.”
Donations made to Navorina between now and July 30 will be matched by Yield Insurance, up to a total of $25,000.
Community fundraising and business donations to date have allowed Navorina to purchase some new furniture, but it says more will be required to meet the needs of residents.
