Police stopped a car on Old Racecourse Rd, Deniliquin about 2.30pm.
The driver was subjected to a roadside breath test, which police allege returned a positive reading.
The man was taken to the Deniliquin Police Station where he underwent breath analysis, returning a reading of 0.014.
The man was issued an infringement notice for the offence of driving with novice range prescribed concentration of alcohol and his driver’s licence was suspended for three months.
Car break-ins
Between 7pm Thursday and 6.30am Friday, an unlocked vehicle parked in Burton St, Deniliquin was accessed and items of property removed.
A similar incident was reported 24 hours earlier.
Between 9pm Wednesday and 8am Thursday, a vehicle parked in Butler St, Deniliquin was broken into with an amount of money and personal papers taken from the vehicle.

Mobile phone missing
Between 11.30am Thursday and 9am Saturday, an iPhone was reported stolen from the counter of a shop in Livingstone St, Mathoura.
