After 17 years in business Lance and Di Gardiner have moved on to new beginnings.
Garry Brose and daughter Camilla Lowe are the new management team and along with the existing staff they look forward to continuing a high level of service.
The father-daughter team who hail from Queensland are excited to now call Deni home.
Garry was a stock and station agent in Winton and Longreach.
He later became branch manager in Blackall and Cunnamulla.
They moved to Queensland’s Western Downs area of Chinchilla and later to Tara for Garry to start his passion of buying farming properties, doing them up and flipping them.
“A serendipitous deviation from farming saw a move to Toowoomba to drive taxis, which was originally a side investment,” Cam said.
Cam started her career as a jillaroo on a sheep stud in Western Queensland, later owning her own contract mustering business.
“After a year of working abroad on farms, I returned to start a new career as a travel agent,” she said.
“After 10 years in the game it was time for a change and the opportunity to go into business with Garry presented.”
After running an extremely busy business, the wide open spaces and fresh air were again calling, so they made a few moves before making their way to Deni.
Three important people made the move with them, Garry’s wife Trish, Cam’s husband John and son Henry.
“After an unfortunate farm accident, it prompted us to assess and adjust our short and long term business plans rather quickly,” Cam said.
“It was a hard decision to down size our farming enterprise, but we are excited to have a business that keeps us in the industry we love.”
The family hope the season continues to go the growers’ way and they “can’t wait to get out and start spreading and meeting the clients”.
“In light of all the changes and challenges we have endured this year we now have a more family oriented outlook on life,” Cam said.
“We love Deni and the good old fashioned country hospitality we have received from day one.
“Deni just feels like home, we wish we had found this area sooner.”
Cam and Garry have entered into a new business agreement with Nutrien Ag Solutions Deniliquin, partnering with them for all your fertiliser needs.
They will operate out of the same yard at 160 Napier Street, Deniliquin and have retained the same contact details: Mobile 0427 267 222 and email deni.ferts@bigpond.com.
Taking the helm, Garry wished previous owners Di and Lance all the best with their new venture.
Mr Gardiner also wished the new owners of Deni Fertilisers all the best and announced his new venture.
“I will continue to operate the manure spreading and selling division of the business from the Napier street yard.
