Pilates Reformers build on the foundations and concepts of Pilates matwork, by adding resistance with springs, pulleys and ropes.
Evolve is adding six Pilates Reformer classes to its group fitness timetable, and potentially more subject to demand. Trials of this new class will begin next week.
‘‘After many months of research, budgeting and planning, the business was able to purchase eight SPX-MAX Pilates Reformers, along with exciting extras such as reformer jump boards and Pilates rings,’’ Evolve owner/manager Jenna Kaine said.
‘‘This huge investment of almost $100,000 on equipment and staff training is something we consider worthwhile in supporting the health and wellbeing of the Deniliquin community”
‘‘We will have a class trial week running from June 15, and will then offer six week blocks at the special introductory price of $60 for members and $90 for non-members.’’
Those returning to their fitness routine, or anyone looking to begin one, can also book private group sessions and personal training with Evolve instructors. Rehabilitation sessions with exercise physiologist Terri Bootsman are also available.
‘‘After being closed for almost 12 weeks due to COVID-19, the Evolve team is very excited to be finally reopening our doors,’’ Mrs Kaine said.
To celebrate, they will be offering ‘class tasters’ and Evolve tours tomorrow, June 13.
