Murray Cray season opens Saturday

Murray Crayfish may only be taken during the months of June, July and August in the Murray River between Hume Weir and the Newell Highway Road bridge at Tocumwal, including Lake Mulwala.

June 1 marks the start of the season for Murray spiny freshwater crayfish, an inland delicacy enjoyed over a campfire or at the dinner table.
