The awards recognise business that have provided goods and services during a challenging business climate, as well as those who have developed innovative customer attraction and retention strategies and shown leadership.
Three finalists in each category have been picked from nominations submitted by community members during the award’s nomination period.
Mayor Libro Mustica said the finalists in the awards had been chosen from more than 800 nominations from the community during the nomination period.
“It is important to recognise those businesses in our region who have gone above and beyond to make a difference to their customers, their staff and the communities as a whole,” Cr Mustica said.
Voting for the awards concludes at 5pm on Friday, July 15. Votes can be submitted on the Moira Shire Council website.
Winners will be announced on July 28 at the Sebel in Yarrawonga. Tickets to the event can be obtained via the council website or by phoning 5871 9222.
