Neither LGA recorded new cases yesterday, with 46 total across other LGAs in the District.
On Sunday, MLHD reported 47 new cases of COVID-19 including three residents of the Murray River local government area.
There were 41 cases in the Albury LGA, one in the Greater Hume LGA, one in the Murrumbidgee LGA (its first in this outbreak), one in Coolamon LGA, one case in Federation LGA, and one in the Berrigan LGA.
There were no new cases in the Edward River LGA, however there were 38 in Albury LGA, two cases in Berrigan LGA, two cases in the Greater Hume LGA, one case in the Coolamon LGA (its first case in the current outbreak), and one in the Wagga Wagga LGA.
On Saturday, 37 new cases of COVID-19 were recorded in MLHD, including one resident of the Edward River local government area, 32 new cases in Albury LGA, two cases in Berrigan LGA, one in
Greater Hume LGA, and one in Federation LGA.
The message to limit movement for residents of the Albury, Berrigan, Murray River, Federation and Greater Hume LGAs were reiterated as a ‘‘critical’’ measure to stop the spread.
One Murray River resident was recorded in the MLHD’s 35 new cases on Friday, along with 30 cases in Albury LGA, two in Federation LGA, and two in Greater Hume LGA.
Sunday’s figures indicate 93.7 per cent of residents in the Murrumbidgee Local Health District have received a first dose of a COVID-19 vaccine, and 79.1 per cent are fully vaccinated.
