When Aussie songstress Missy Higgins took to the stage on Friday night she commented on how amazing it looked in the wide open skies that spanned the Conargo plains.
Known for being one to get in touch with nature, she lead the massive Muster crowd in a rousing howl at the moon - and not just once.
And the crowd was more than happy to join in.
Excellent turn out for local act
Locals who attend the Deni Ute Muster may have recognised the name of the Saturday evening opening act.
Zara Lindemann is a Denilqiuin artist, and locals got behind her in her first performance on the big muster stage.
And so too did the other Muster goers.
A reasonably sized crowd were front and centre to see what type of talent Deniliquin can bring our visitors, and she did not disappoint.
The cheers and applause after each song indicated she captured the crowd ... as we all knew she would.
Fireworks cancelled after injury
Many Muster goers may have been confused when the annual Saturday night fireworks didn’t go off following Jessica Malbouy’s performance at the Deni Ute Muster.
The reason for the cancellation was due to the expected arrival of an Air Ambulance.
The service was called when a ticket holder received serious burns to the face.

Band’s dedication song
The Carp Factory took to the Deni Ute Muster day stage on Saturday morning, and started their set with a toe tapping tribute to one of Deni’s business success stories.
The five piece band from Melbourne includes Deni lads Sid Pearn, Sam Young and former Charlie Carp employee Will Keech.
Their opening song was about the fertilizer produced at the Deni factory which inspired their name.
The product name was repeated so many times, we can only hope the subliminal messaging works and sales will be boosted across the country post-Muster.
With the day stage located inside the food court, the lads had a pretty big crowd to play to.
Big weekend winners
Everyone who took part in the Singlet Muster World Record attempt on Saturday was a big winner, but four in particular went away with rather large smiles.
Among them was Fiona Mathers, who was the winner of the Cruisin’ Country 2023 prize - seven day cruise which features live country music and departs Sydney on December 1.
Attending the Muster with husband John, all Fiona had to do to win was purchase her Muster ticket, and be part of the singlet muster.
Jayden Mouttou and Vanessa Smith were also big winners during the singlet count, walking away with passes for the 2024 Deni Ute Muster.
Each was lucky to have scooped up a special yellow cattle tags which were among hundreds of other coloured tags dispensed into crowd by the Bogan Bingo hosts.
A change in weather
What an amazing weekend of weather we had for the Ute Muster - sunny, clear skies and warm enough for a sunburn or two.
However, all good things must come to an end.
The latest local area forecast predicts that Deniliquin will receive rain both today and tomorrow.
Additionally, temperatures are expected to remain below 20 degrees for most of the week.
Stay prepared and keep yourself warm and dry.
