Despite this, they turned up each week and enjoyed playing in the Grade 5 and 6 and Year 7 competition.
They finished off the season drawing with the Deni Giants, after scoring a last second goal before time.
The group is hopeful of playing in a future under 15s comp and is keen to hear from anyone who would like to join them.

A belated welcome back to town is extended to former locals, Donna DeMerlo and Jim Verall.
The popular local duo left us to spend a few years in Echuca, but has now seen the error of their ways and recognised that Mathoura is ‘God’s own country’. Good to have you back!

The team made its way around, conveying Santa on his Christmas Eve journey delivering lollies in town, on farms and out the river.
