Lunar Hero was the standout performer at the final meeting for 2020.
The Wangaratta gelding led from start to finish in the Maiden (1000m) for three year-olds.
Lunar Hero ($3.10) defeated heavily backed first starter All Of Brighton ($2.15 fav) by five lengths with Twiggy Pop third.
Trainer Dan McCarthy described the winner as ‘‘a really nice horse and still learning’’.
Lunar Hero has had only three starts but will now spell.
Winning jockey Dan Stackhouse completed a double on Hot In Paris for Leon and Troy Corstens.
Hot In Paris ($4.80) beat $3.30 favourite Kiata by a half head with four lengths to Eastern Pegasus in the Benchmark 58 (1000m).
Cape Mount fared best of the locals with a third placing in the Benchmark 58 (1400m).
The four year-old is a newcomer for Michael Cornish and Donna Gaskin and had not raced since August.

Dente and Barmah Al gave Daryl Archard a quinella in the Rating 58 (2400m) at Geelong.
Dente ($11) ridden by Noel Callow finished strongly to defeat her stablemate by 1¼ lengths.
It was the second win for Dente, a five year-old mare by Melbourne Cup winner Fiorente.

Dry County and Red Jewels posted their first win at Kerang on Boxing Day.
Dry County ($11) at start eight won the Maiden (1400m) by three quarters of a length from Blax.
John ‘Bluey’ Thomas trains the winner which was ridden by Robert Beattie.
Red Jewels ($3.70) set the pace in the Maiden (1100m) and kept going strongly to defeat $3.40 favourite Hello Handsome by 1¼ lengths.
John Robertson rode Red Jewels, a four year-old mare trained by Gwenda Johnstone.
There was Deniliquin interest in the return of Magic Mistress ($31) and the mare pleased with a strong finishing third in the Benchmark 52 (1100m).
